If you have reached out to your insurance company for contact information of lactation support professionals and they’ve directed you to LLL, please call the number on the back of your insurance card and let them know that you need the contact information for an in-network IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in accordance with the Affordable Care Act.
La Leche League is here to answer questions and provide general support to you during your breastfeeding journey. Many parents who attend La Leche League meetings find a welcoming community and lasting friendships, but IBCLCs work with your insurance and medical team for complex situations.
